Jesus gave His Church 7 Sacraments

The Church is a living, breathing entity with a life of its own. 

The Church is the body of Jesus Christ and He lives in His people through the Holy Spirit who dwells within them. 

The saving work of Jesus Christ is continued in the Church through the gift of the Holy Spirit which works to convert and sanctify souls.

The Sacraments are rituals that teach us how to live the Christian life. 

They help to sanctify the believer, renew their faith, and give them strength for their journey. 

The Seven Sacraments are: 

  1. Baptism
  2. Confirmation
  3. Penance
  4. Holy Eucharist
  5. Anointing of the Sick
  6. Holy Orders 
  7. and Matrimony

Sacraments are essential to our lives because the Sacraments gives us God's grace Grace is what gives us life with Christ and makes us holy, beautiful children of God. 

It opens up Heaven for us, living in us through sanctifying grace.
